Message from the Chair

Cardiothoracic Clinic of AHEPA University Hospital has as a consignement its 30 years of service and its experience that the medical and nursing personnel has gathered from facing thousands of patients who have undergone cardiac and thoracic surgery.

Cardiothoracic Clinic of AHEPA University Hospital is not only the center of clinical application of all modern surgical techniques but also an education and research center concerning cardiac and thoracic surgery. Having been recognised on a panhellenic level, the Clinic cooperates on an academic and research level with several international Cardiothoracic Centers for the continuous upgrade of health, education and research services that it provides. The purpose of the Clinic is to keep constituting a hive of scientific knowledge for patients, surgeons, researchers and students.

All of us, the medical and nursing personnel of the clinic, have set as our primary concern the patient and as our obligation serving the Clinic's academic identity. On behalf of all of us who are part of this efford, i wish our effords lead to the desirable outcome.
